There is no known single cause
of Autism. However,
there are many theories. These
theories generally involve a combination of biological, neurological, and
environmental factors. Many
researchers believe there is a genetic link that contributes to ASD.
Others believe there is an
environmental role in the development of Autism. Although disproven by research, many
people feel that vaccinations trigger Autism. Other possible environmental factors
include exposure to heavy metals, medications taken by the mother during
pregnancy, and air pollution.
